Young-esque 12-string strumming, harmonica blowing troubadour. The truobador of the south, on the other hand, thought the name makes no greater claim to individuality, leaves on his songs an imprint of a personal mannerism, if not a fully independant style; and we have at least some anecdotes. - J.M. Cohen. Contact: Email |

Amber, a local singer/songwriter, taught herself guitar, started writing songs when she was 9 and has been playing live since she was 15. Singing in a beautifully soothing voice, not dissimilar to Norah Jones, she carries the audience away with the bare accompaniment of just her guitar. She is recording her début E.P. at the moment, soon to be released and recently supported Speedway at the Lemon Tree. Contact: Email |

67 is a composition of the guitar, keyboard and programming noises of Dave Falconer, the words and vocals of Kirsten Murray and the sounds of flautist, Kat Parkin. It all began in the doorway of a guitar shop at number 67, where Dave and Kirsten gave birth to a healthy baby band in September '03. The band's 4-track EP, "I am as big as my hand" was released in February '04. The band endeavour to make an audio pick 'n' mix of gummy bear beats, flying saucer synthesis, mellow marshmallows and vanilla fudge vocals. Contact: Email |

Lead singer and songwriter from Glasgow's The Grim Northern Social playing solo with just his acoustic guitar for company. Probably the best acoustic performance I've seen. What a voice!
"...[as] he pushes his larynx to ever loftier heights with a string of unfeasible whoops, hollers and shrieks
[...] it's clear he's that rare thing - a natural born star."
